Indian actor Hrithik Roshan is being celebrated by audience and critics alike for his powerful performance in Siddharth Anand’s Fighter. The actor is receiving rave reviews for his mettle as an actor as well as his prowess to perform action with impact. The Actor has received one such compliment from a retired combat veteran with the Indian Army, General Bakshi.

Commending Hrithik’s ability to deliver combat scenes, General Bakshi took to X and wrote,”Keep up the Great Work Tiger. You do justice to combat roles. Hope to see u in many more. The boys in uniform need all the encouragement they can get @ihrithik.”

Earlier the combat veteran had shared his views on Fighter, he wrote on X“Just saw the Movie Fighter. A Great and befitting tribute to our Air Warriors. Thrilling action and aerobatics by the Sukhois. Dont miss the air combat. Hritik Roshan made a great fighter pilot. Gave Tom Cruise a run for his money. MUST SEE! @iHrithik.”

Fighter has been amassing love from Indian and International audiences courtesy Hrithik Roshan’s stellar screen presence, Siddharth Anand’s top notch direction, dogfights and aerial action, along with the strong emotional quotient the film holds. Fighter has emerged to be 2024’s highest grossing film surpassing 300crs at the worldwide box office. The film also stands to be Hrithik Roshan’s highest grossing film in the markets of US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Germany.

Up next for Hrithik Roshan is War 2, as the actor revealed in a recent interview that he will start shoot for the sequel of 2019’s highest grossing film War ‘very soon’. Speaking about the same, Hrithik shared, “We are about to begin (War 2), we are almost there, yeah, goes on floors very very soon, bit too soon, I don’t get a breather, there’s enough that’s filled me up and encouraged me, I’ve got enough of a pat on my back for ‘Fighter’ and it is something that I have a lot of gratitude for and I’m good to go, man, good to go, let’s go War, got the encouragement that I needed.”
