Mohali, SAS Nagar, Roop Naresh:
With the blessings of Nirankari Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj, the third blood donation camp was organized today at the local Sant Nirankari Satsang Bhawan, Sector 74, TDI City branch.

The blood donation camp was inaugurated by the representative of the Sant Nirankari Mandal, Shri H.S. Chawla Ji, along with Chandigarh Zone’s Zonal Incharge Shri O.P. Nirankari Ji, local coordinator Dr. J.K. Cheema Ji, TDI City branch head Shri Gurpratap Singh Ji, and other eminent dignitaries from the city.

A total of 166 devotees, including men and women, actively participated in donating blood.

On this occasion, Shri H.S. Chawla Ji expressed his gratitude to the donors and said that Satguru Mata Sudiksha Ji Maharaj continues to inspire selfless service toward humanity. He highlighted that human blood has no substitute and described blood donation as the best example of “service to mankind is worship of God.” He also mentioned that Satguru Mata Ji is carrying forward the message of Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj: “Human blood should flow in veins, not in drains.” This message is being upheld by the devotees of the mission.

Shri O.P. Nirankari Ji, the Zonal Incharge, stated that two to three blood donation camps are organized every month in the Chandigarh Zone, with many donors participating in this noble cause.

Shri Gurpratap Singh Ji, the TDI City branch head, and Mohali coordinator Dr. J.K. Cheema Ji thanked the chief guest Shri H.S. Chawla Ji, Zonal Incharge Shri O.P. Nirankari Ji, the blood donors, and other dignitaries who attended the camp.

Shri Gurpratap Singh Ji also shared that the Nirankari Mission organized its first blood donation camp in Delhi in 1986. Baba Hardev Singh Ji Maharaj personally donated blood at the camp, and since then, the campaign has been continuously carried forward by the mission’s devotees. Over the past 38 years, nearly 14 lakh units of blood have been collected from around 9,000 blood donation camps.

Under the Sant Nirankari Charitable Foundation, the mission also conducts various initiatives worldwide for public welfare, including cleanliness drives, tree plantations, Project Amrit, free medical consultations, free eye camps, disaster relief support, and numerous programs for women empowerment and child development to promote holistic societal growth.

During this blood donation camp, the team from PGI, led by Dr. Manpreet Kaur, and Civil Hospital, Mohali, under the leadership of Dr. Saniya Sharma (BTO), collected blood units.

Many male and female volunteers from the local Sewa Dal unit contributed tirelessly to the event’s success. Additionally, arrangements for refreshments, meals, and langar (community kitchen) were made for all donors and participants.
